Animal Doctors has onsite state of the art medical imaging including digital x-ray , endoscopy and ultrasound machines. We also have our own in-house same day laboratory where most general pathology testing is done.
Our advanced imaging equipment allows us to investigate any area of the body, ranging from simple chest X-rays to detailed analysis of the brain and spinal cord. This amazing equipment allows us to investigate your pet, ranging from simple chest X-rays to detailed analysis of the brain, blood flows and internal organs without having to do invasive surgery. This often allows us to pinpoint issues faster and organise treatments will minimal exploratory surgery.
Endoscopy
An endoscopy allows a tiny video camera to gain access to an animal’s digestive tract and stomach without having to perform surgery. Veterinary endoscopy procedures are usually used for diagnostic purposes to view these area, as well as take tissue samples for further analysis.
Ultrasonography
With ultrasound, we can monitor the way blood flows through the heart and are able to view the internal structure of abdominal organs. Along with our other radiological tools this assists us to reach the right diagnosis as promptly as possible.
