Pharmacy and Prescriptions
At Animal Docs we keep a well stocked pharmacy on site at the hospital to enable us to treat pets and prescribe medications without owners having to travel around town finding them. If a medicine is unavailable we will endeavor to order it in ASAP.
If you need medication for your pet immediately, please call or email us to arrange things quickly and easily.
Repeat Prescriptions
If you pet requires repeat prescriptions we will try to provide enough to cover treatment until your next visit to avoid unnecessary trips to the clinic or pharmacy. If you are going away let us know and where appropriate we can extent your medications to cover this period.
In-house Pathology
We also have our own in-house same day laboratory where most general pathology testing is done. If we need to check up on the effect of medication this allows us to diagnose result quickly.
