Paws And Think offer more than their famous Advanced Puppy Classes, they also offer personalised and specialised training sessions, other bespoke training classes and a new exciting dog sport ‘Hoopers’.

Shelley Aukett has worked in the animal industry since 1997 and moved into specialising in canine behaviour and training, becoming a certified pet dog trainer by 2013.  Shelley and her entire team dedicate themselves to continually develop their knowledge in the field, ensuring that current training methods are always in practice. Paws And Think’s approach aligns with the latest practices in positive reinforcement, ensuring a fear-free, supportive and enjoyable learning experience for both puppies and their families.

Our Training Technique

We utilise the latest positive reinforcement training techniques, working with each family and seeing them as the individual they are.  We tailor all our training solutions that suit both the animal in front of us and ensure we also address the human side of the training to get the best outcomes.

When and Costs

Puppy Classes are run from our Waverley Practice at 6.15pm on Tuesdays. The course runs for 4 lessons and goes for about 60-80minutes per lesson.  Each course carries a fee of $295 per puppy, which includes covering a very comprehensive training programme (check out their website for more details) which is offered in small intimate classes providing a more personalised experience.  With the added bonus of every puppy household receiving a detailed +50 page booklet of helpful notes to work through during the course.  Each week you are handed a homework sheet to reflect on and recap on what was covered in each class and at graduation you will also receive a puppy graduation pack to take home with you.
