DR KEN SEDGERS
Ken has been enjoying veterinary practice since graduating from Sydney University in 1992. He experienced mixed rural practice in the Upper Hunter Valley and then nearly a decade as a Thoroughbred Vet at Warwick Farm Racecourse. After meeting his wife and moving back to the city in 2003, Ken started work in companion animal practice and soon found that looking after dogs and cats were where his passions truly lay.
DR EAMONN SHEEHAN
Eamonn moved to Sydney in Feb 2023 from Ireland where he worked as a mixed animal Veterinarian. He enjoys keeping active and watching/playing sports especially Hurling (Irish ball sport!). He is interested in all aspects of veterinary but is especially keen on orthopaedics and musculoskeletal problems.
DR BARRY NIELSEN
Barry has a long history with Animal Doctors and also a teacher of Veterinary Nursing at TAFE and is also available for acupuncture.
OLIVIA
Olivia is the Head Vet Nurse at a Animal Doctors, graduating with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2023. She is passionate about medical nursing and impatient care and supports both vets and pet owners. In her free time, Olivia enjoys running, beach outings, and spending time with her two dogs, Betty and Dougie.
CASSARN MALONE
Cassarn is our Practice Manager and has been a Vet Nurse since 2011. She joined the Animal Doctors team in 2016 and continues to strive towards the smooth running of our clinic for all our staff, clients and most importantly, patients.
KEZIAH
Keziah graduated as a Veterinary Nurse from TUS Athlone in 2023 and has since made the move from Ireland to Australia on a working holiday. She works as part of our nursing team in the Eastern Suburbs, bringing a calm, caring approach to every patient she meets. At home, Keziah runs a small hobby farm and is surrounded by an impressive menagerie, including her chocolate Labrador, Pearl, three cats, two goats, a pig, a donkey, as well as chickens and ducks. Her lifelong love of animals shines through in everything she does, both in and out of the clinic.
SADHBH
Sadhbh graduated from University College Dublin in 2025 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She recently relocated from Ireland to Australia on a working holiday and is a valued member of our nursing team here in the Eastern Suburbs. Outside of work, Sadhbh is a devoted pet parent to her rescue Cavalier x Terrier, Winston. An enthusiastic runner, she is currently training for the Sydney Marathon in 2026. Her passion for animal care, combined with her energy and dedication, makes her a wonderful support to both our patients and clients.
